Overview

Vineyard Counseling Center is an interdenominational professional counseling center serving metro Indianapolis and Hancock County. Our goal is to provide professional counseling with a Christian world view at an affordable price. We are committed to quality care, privacy, and confidentiality. You deserve the highest ethical standards. We care personally and professionally for your needs. We take the time to listen to you. To us you are a person of worth, not just someone else with a problem or addiction. Our treatment plans are designed to encourage mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual health.

At Vineyard Counseling Center, you'll find help for: addictions; adolescent behavior issues; anxiety attacks; boundary issues; childhood abuse issues; depression; dissociative disorders; divorce issues; eating disorders; family issues; grief issues; marital issues; panic attacks; phobias; post-traumatic stress; self esteem issues; sexual abuse; sexual dysfunction; spiritual issues; stress relief; suicidal issues; and other needs.

Director of Counseling

Our Director of Counseling is Pastor J. Michael Robertson, MALMHC. Mike has been counseling since 1982. He is an Indiana State Licensed Mental Health Counselor and is nationally certified by the American College of Counselors. Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Kentucky University and his Master of Arts degree in counseling from Martin University, graduating summa cum laude. Mike also attended Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and studied counseling at EMI. He has been an ordained pastor for over twenty years and has founded and directed three counseling centers. He taught counseling at the college level for five years. Mike holds memberships in the following organizations: American College of Counselors; American Association of Christian Counselors; International Society for the Study of Dissociation; Indiana Association of Christian Counselors; Indiana Association of Mental Health Counselors.

Appointments
Counseling appointments are scheduled from Noon to 6:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. The church office is staffed from 9:00 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. Monday through Friday. You may leave a voice message at any time and we will return your call.
Our Fees
Fees are on a sliding scale. We try to meet the needs of all our clients. At the present time we do not process Medicare or Medicaid claims. We will file claims for insurance, but we cannot predict how your insurance will respond.
